Get Bach, get Bach, get Bach to where he once belonged

It says a lot that Midori calls Bach deeply spiritual and cleansing (Sonata in G minor, Bach was a Lutheran).

Today was the commemoration day for Bach.  Music isn’t the same, even as prolific as Bach was, the world today spits out lukewarm compositions that fade as quickly as they come to light.  We have exchanged insipid, bite sized music for something that continues to speak over centuries since it was penned.  I’m afraid that people will continue to serve their basic instinct for that which give enough pleasure until another can be found instead of working for a deeper reward.
