Readings for Friday Easter 4

Luke 11:1-13

Impudent children.  That’s what we are when we pray correctly.  Like a neighbor waking you in the night, pounding on the door, yelling at the top of their voice, and waking everyone, that should be your prayer life.  Ask, seek, knock.  Ask what is good, ask so that you know what is good, what is God’s good.  Seek it, desire it, want the good of God and knock, knock like an impudent child, a rash neighbor, a bother until you receive an answer.  Knock, Knock.
